In the early hours of Tuesday, a confrontation erupted in Kathaonda village, located in the Rahatgarh police jurisdiction of Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh. The dispute originated over the grazing of goats, with two families laying claim to the same pasture.
According to local police, the argument quickly turned violent as both sides resorted to using sticks and axes as weapons. The clash resulted in severe injuries to several participants, and two fatalities were confirmed.
The victims identified by authorities are Puran Adivasi, a resident of the village, and his son Babu Adivasi. Both succumbed to injuries sustained during the melee.
