Two Armed Thieves Arrested by Aman Vihar Police in Delhi, One Linked to 50+ Cases

Delhi police from Aman Vihar station detained two suspects, Karan alias Robin and Pradeep alias Lala, during a routine patrol for robbery and vehicle theft.
Delhi's Aman Vihar police station reported that two individuals were apprehended during a scheduled patrol aimed at curbing robbery and vehicle theft. The suspects, identified as Karan, known locally as Robin, and Pradep, known as Lala, both 36 years old, were stopped near the Mangolpuri area and taken into custody.
Investigators disclosed that the duo has been active in a series of loot and theft incidents across the city. While both are alleged to have participated in recent robberies, Karan carries a more extensive criminal record, with police filings indicating involvement in more than fifty cases ranging from burglary to motor vehicle theft.
The arrested men are currently being interrogated at the Aman Vihar police station. Authorities said they will file formal charges under the Indian Penal Code and the Motor Vehicles Act, and the case will be forwarded to the court for trial. The police thanked the patrolling team for their vigilance and urged the public to report any suspicious activity promptly.
