A truck transporting pilgrims fell into a deep gorge in Himachal Pradesh, leaving around 40 people injured, officials said.
A truck loaded with pilgrims slipped off a mountain road and plunged into a gorge in Himachal Pradesh, authorities reported. The accident occurred on a remote stretch of the highway, causing the vehicle to tumble into the steep ravine.
Rescue teams from the state police and local emergency services rushed to the site. They used rope ladders and stretchers to pull the injured out of the gorge and transport them to the nearest medical facilities.
