Under the Seva Setu Abhiyan, Tripura will hold 15‑day block‑level camps to identify and enrol eligible families who have been left out of Ayushman Bharat and the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi schemes.
The Tripura state government announced that, starting next week, block‑level camps will be set up for a period of fifteen days under the Seva Setu Abhiyan. The camps aim to locate households that qualify for central welfare schemes but have not been enrolled, particularly the health‑insurance programme Ayushman Bharat and the farmer‑support scheme Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi.
Local officials will deploy field teams equipped with digital verification tools to cross‑check eligibility against scheme databases. Beneficiaries identified during the outreach will be assisted in completing the required documentation on the spot, ensuring immediate linkage to the schemes.
The initiative is part of a broader effort by the state to plug gaps in welfare delivery and to ensure that marginalized sections, especially low‑income families and small‑holder farmers, receive the intended benefits without further delay.
Authorities have urged eligible citizens to attend the nearest block‑level camp and have set up a helpline for queries. The camps will operate from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, with provisions for senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
