Tripura farmers receive Rs 44.24 crore as 24th PM‑Kisan instalment

The central government has released the 24th instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM‑Kisan) scheme for the state of Tripura. Under the scheme, small and marginal farmers receive direct cash transfers to support agricultural activities and improve livelihoods. This latest disbursement totals Rs 44.24 crore and is being credited to the bank accounts of eligible beneficiaries across the state. State officials confirmed that the funds have been transferred as per the schedule announced by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare. The payment is expected to provide timely financial relief to Tripura’s farming community ahead of the upcoming sowing season.
