The newly released trailer of the murder‑mystery film 'Pulavar' features the late Bharathiraja playing a police officer, marking his posthumous appearance on screen.
The promotional video for the upcoming Tamil‑language murder mystery 'Pulavar' has been unveiled, highlighting a brief yet striking cameo by the late Bharathiraja as a police officer. The trailer, released by the film’s producers, sets a dark tone with clues and suspenseful sequences that hint at a complex investigation.
Bharathiraja, a celebrated director and actor who passed away earlier this year, appears in a posthumous role that adds emotional weight to the project. His brief screen time shows him in a classic police uniform, delivering a line that underscores the gravity of the case.
The film, directed by a new generation filmmaker, promises a blend of classic whodunit elements with contemporary storytelling. While details about the plot remain limited, the trailer suggests multiple suspects and a layered narrative that will unfold as the investigation progresses.
Industry observers note that Bharathiraja’s involvement, even after his death, could attract both his long‑time admirers and younger audiences curious about his final performance. The trailer has already generated considerable buzz on social media platforms.
'Pulavar' is slated for release later this year, with further promotional material expected in the coming weeks.
