Today, launched the FCRA 2.0 portal and the e-OCI card facilities, further extending Modi Ji's vision of Minimum Government, Maximum Governance. The FCRA 2.0 portal will provide organisations receiving foreign contributions with a user-friendly experience, reducing paperwork, and saving time through digitalisation of compliance processes. It will also serve as another shield protecting our national interests, by sharpening the government's regulatory oversight of foreign contributions.
The e-OCI Card launched today is a significant initiative to provide the benefits of swift and seamless services to over 50 lakh OCI cardholders by digitalising OCI-related processes. By enabling online applications, digital card generation, 24/7 mobile access, and reducing physical visits to zero, this new system will make visa processes simpler and more convenient.
