Police in Khargone revealed a fraud ring that lured victims with promises of large gains in the stock market. The scheme operated through a WhatsApp group and a counterfeit mobile application. Three suspects, who were based in Gujarat, were apprehended by authorities and the entire amount of ₹10.95 lakh was recovered. The arrest follows a coordinated investigation that traced the illicit funds back to the victims’ accounts.
