Police in Assam have detained three suspects in connection with a Bengaluru blast that investigators say was part of a murder plot stemming from a family dispute.
Police in Assam announced the detention of three individuals suspected of involvement in a recent explosion in Bengaluru. The arrests were made as part of a broader investigation into the blast, which authorities say was not a random act of terror.
According to statements from the investigating officers, the Bengaluru blast was linked to a planned murder that arose out of a family dispute. The motive, as described by the police, appears to be personal rather than ideological, with the explosive device allegedly intended to eliminate a family member.
The case remains under active investigation, and officials have not disclosed further details about the identities of the suspects or the exact nature of the family conflict. Police have indicated that additional arrests may follow as they piece together the full chain of events.
