Ten dead in Sagar’s Bunda area after suspected poisonous liquor; MP, MLA visit hospital

Ten people died after consuming suspected poisonous liquor in the Bunda region of Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. An MP, an MLA and senior officials inspected the patients at the local hospital and ordered free, enhanced treatment.
A suspected batch of toxic liquor has claimed ten lives in the Bunda area of Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh. The victims, who reportedly consumed the drink over the past few days, were rushed to the district hospital where they were placed under intensive care.
Following the fatalities, the Member of Parliament from the region, along with a Member of the Legislative Assembly and senior district officials, arrived at the hospital to assess the condition of the remaining patients. The officials met the medical team, reviewed the treatment protocols and emphasized the need for prompt, quality care.
The MP instructed that all affected individuals receive treatment free of cost and that the hospital be provided with any additional resources required for their recovery. Local authorities have launched an investigation to trace the source of the liquor and to prevent further incidents.
