The state government announced a new industrial policy, AI‑driven investor support, and ₹3,200 crore earmarked for developing industrial parks to boost manufacturing.
Tamil Nadu has rolled out a comprehensive industrial policy aimed at accelerating the state’s manufacturing footprint. The policy introduces AI‑powered services that will guide foreign and domestic investors through site selection, compliance, and financing options, thereby reducing bureaucratic delays.
Under the scheme, the government has earmarked ₹3,200 crore to develop a network of industrial parks across the state. These parks will feature ready‑to‑use infrastructure, power, water, and logistics connectivity, targeting sectors such as electronics, textiles, and automotive components.
Officials say the initiative will create thousands of jobs and attract significant foreign direct investment. The first phase of the parks is slated to commence by the end of 2025, with a full rollout expected within three years.
The policy also includes incentives like tax holidays, streamlined land acquisition procedures, and a dedicated investor helpline, positioning Tamil Nadu as a competitive destination for manufacturing in India.
