The Tamil Nadu government has ordered all schools and colleges in the state to remain closed on November 9, as announced in a recent notice.
The state government of Tamil Nadu issued a notice directing that every school and college across the state stay closed on November 9. The directive was released by the Tamil Nadu Education Department and applies to both government‑run and private institutions.
Students, parents and staff have been asked to monitor official channels for any further updates or instructions related to the closure. No specific reason for the shutdown was mentioned in the notice, and authorities have urged the public to stay informed.
The announcement comes ahead of the weekend, and the education department has indicated that regular academic activities will resume on the following day unless otherwise communicated.
