Stone attack on Bihar product department team in Munger leaves five injured

A team of the Bihar product department was pelted with stones in Munger's Lal Darwaza area, injuring three officers and two Home Guard personnel.
During a recent operation against illegal liquor trade, a team of the Bihar product department entered the Lal Darwaza locality of Munger. While on the ground, the officials were surrounded by a crowd of liquor traders who began hurling stones at them. The assault shattered the windshield of the department's vehicle and caused injuries to five personnel.
Three senior police officers and two Home Guard constables sustained injuries ranging from minor cuts to bruises. Medical assistance was promptly provided at the scene, and the injured were later taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment. No fatalities have been reported.
