The tractor maker Sonalika reported sales of 100,000 units between April and September 2026, marking a significant milestone.
Sonalika International Ltd announced that it sold 100,000 tractors in the six‑month period from April to September 2026, according to data released on its website.
The volume represents a notable increase compared with the same period last year and underscores the company's strong position in India's farm‑mechanisation market.
Industry analysts attribute the growth to expanding credit facilities for farmers, new model launches, and Sonalika's extensive dealer network across rural India.
The company said the sales surge will help it achieve its target of 1.5 million tractors annually by 2028.
Sonalika's performance also contributes to the overall rise in agricultural equipment demand as Indian farms adopt more mechanised practices.
