Relatives of inmates gathered at Beur Central Jail in Patna to observe Raksha Bandhan, a festival that celebrates the bond between brothers and sisters. According to jail records, around 450 family members had registered for the visit, allowing them to meet their incarcerated loved ones.
During the visit, sisters performed the traditional ritual of tying rakhi on the wrists of their brothers who are inmates, exchanging sweets and prayers. The act was carried out in the designated meeting area under the supervision of jail staff.
