Delhi's deteriorating air quality has led many colleges to move lectures online until conditions improve.
Delhi's air quality index has risen to hazardous levels amid a thick smog blanket, prompting health officials to issue precautionary advisories.
Several higher‑education institutions in the capital announced the suspension of regular in‑person lectures for the next few days, shifting to virtual platforms instead.
The move, conveyed by college administrations in coordination with the Delhi government health department, aims to safeguard students and staff from respiratory hazards.
Students have been asked to monitor their college portals for updated timetables and to ensure stable internet connectivity for seamless participation.
Authorities indicated that the online mode will continue until the AQI drops below the unsafe threshold, after which normal classes may resume.
