Seven Arrested After Transgender Groups Clash at Alandi Ghat

A physical confrontation erupted between two transgender collectives at Alandi Ghat, a popular riverside spot in Maharashtra. Bystanders captured the incident on video, which quickly circulated on social media platforms. Local authorities arrived at the scene after receiving multiple complaints from residents.
Police officials reported that the clash involved verbal provocation that escalated into a scuffle, prompting them to intervene and restore order. Seven participants were identified, detained and formally booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code for disturbing public peace.
