The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh clarified at a gathering in Indore that questioning policies on youth, social media, reservation and Naxalism is a constitutional right, not an act of anti‑nationalism.

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) held a meeting in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, to address what it described as a shifting social and political landscape. Senior RSS functionaries emphasized that voicing concerns on topics such as youth aspirations, the misuse of social media, reservation policies and the Naxalite insurgency is a legitimate democratic exercise.

Speakers warned that labeling dissenting voices as "anti‑national" undermines the constitutional right to free expression. They urged young members to engage constructively, using factual arguments rather than resorting to online trolling or misinformation.

The gathering also reiterated the organization’s long‑standing stance that reservation should be periodically reviewed to ensure fairness, while calling for a balanced approach to counter Naxal influence without alienating affected communities.

By framing issue‑raising as a civic duty, the RSS aims to steer its cadre away from extremist narratives and toward responsible participation in India’s democratic discourse.
