A few days ago, during a road accident near Ring Road in Rourkela, Home Guard Anjana Majhi, who was deployed in the PCR vehicle of Chhend Police Station, displayed exceptional courage, promptness and humanity.
Without losing a moment, she rushed to assist the injured victim and performed CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), making every possible effort to save the person’s life.
Recognising her quick response, dedication to duty, courage and compassionate action, the Superintendent of Police, Rourkela, Nitesh Wadhwani honoured Home Guard Anjana Majhi for her exemplary service.
