#Recieved A parent has raised serious concerns over the cost of school books for a Class 3 student, revealing that the total bill has reached ₹2,700, excluding notebooks.
According to the parent, several books carrying an MRP of ₹500–₹600 could reasonably be priced below ₹200. Despite these high prices, two books are still pending.
The parent questioned why schoolchildren and their families are being burdened with such expensive textbooks and demanded greater transparency in book pricing.
Education should be affordable, not a financial burden on parents.
