Re-polling held in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota and Suket after EVM glitch in Rajasthan

Following a technical fault in electronic voting machines on September 14, the Rajasthan State Election Commission ordered re-polling in ten booths across Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota and Suket.
The Rajasthan State Election Commission has completed a fresh round of voting in ten polling booths spread across Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota and Suket. The re-polling was triggered after a malfunction in electronic voting machines (EVMs) prevented the counting of votes in those booths during the September 14 counting process.
Election officials set up the booths again under strict supervision, ensuring that the voting process adhered to all procedural norms. Voters were informed of the re-polling schedule and turned out to cast their ballots, allowing the commission to capture the missing votes.
Preliminary figures up to 6 p.m. have been compiled, and the detailed vote count for each booth will be released by the commission shortly. The re-polling aims to complete the electoral tally for the affected constituencies and maintain the integrity of the election outcome.
