Rare Shield Bug Species Rediscovered in Nagaland After 100+ Years

Scientists working in the remote hills of Nagaland have reported the rediscovery of a rare shield bug species, the first sighting in more than a century. The insect, previously documented in the early 1900s, was found near a remote forest area in the state during a biodiversity survey. The discovery was made by a team from the Indian Institute of Science in collaboration with local researchers.
