Rajinikanth's 'Jailer 2' Nears ₹150 cr Worldwide Box‑Office Milestone on Day 2

The Rajinikanth‑headlined sequel Jailer 2 recorded a robust box‑office performance on its second day of release, narrowing the gap to the coveted ₹150 crore worldwide gross. After two days in theatres, the film's cumulative earnings are reported to be approaching that benchmark, reflecting strong audience turnout across domestic and overseas markets. Industry analysts note that the rapid accumulation underscores the star's enduring pull and the film's wide release strategy. The momentum follows a strong opening day, and distributors expect the collection trajectory to sustain through the weekend. If the current pace holds, Jailer 2 could join the limited club of Indian releases that have breached the ₹150 crore mark worldwide.
