Rajasthan Transfers 69 IFS Officers

In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Rajasthan government has transferred 69 Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers. This move is expected to bring about changes in the state's forest department, particularly in the tiger reserves. Arijit Banerjee has been appointed as the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) and Head of Forest Force, a key position in the state's forest administration. Furthermore, 14 officers have been given additional charges, indicating a major overhaul of the department's hierarchy.
