In a significant development, the Rajasthan government has carried out a major reshuffle in the state police force. The transfers, which were announced late at night, involve 18 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers. Anil Paliwal, a senior IPS officer, has been appointed as the Director General of Home Guard. Malini Agarwal, another experienced officer, will take over as the Director General of Traffic. The reshuffle also includes the appointment of Anshuman Bhomia as the Police Commissioner of Jodhpur.
