At a BJP rally in Jaipur, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma responded to Congress leader Gahlot, saying he will address each of Gahlot’s statements in Jodhpur, focusing on RPSC and Jal Jeevan Mission concerns.
The Bharatiya Janata Party organised a public meeting and a foot‑march in Jaipur as part of its state‑wide campaign. During the event, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma took the microphone to respond to remarks made by Congress leader Gahlot.
Sharma said that Gahlot’s statements on the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) and the Jal Jeevan Mission would be answered point‑by‑point in Jodhpur, signalling a direct political confrontation on these policy issues.
The CM’s remarks underscored the BJP’s intent to challenge the opposition’s narrative ahead of upcoming elections, while also highlighting the government’s focus on improving recruitment processes and water supply schemes in the state.
Political analysts noted that the exchange reflects the heightened contestation between the ruling party and the opposition in Rajasthan, especially on development programmes that affect rural and urban voters alike.
The rally concluded with party workers urging supporters to attend the forthcoming Jodhpur event where the promised rebuttal is expected to be delivered.
