The Rajasthan government has decided to strengthen maternity services by introducing expert doctor mentoring at all delivery points. The state will also provide anti-shock garments in 108 ambulances.
The Rajasthan government has taken a significant step to improve maternity services in the state. As part of this initiative, all delivery points will be monitored by medical colleges, ensuring that patients receive quality care. Additionally, 108 ambulances will be equipped with anti-shock NASG garments to provide emergency care during transportation. This move is expected to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates in the state. The government has also planned to set up a cancer cell at the directorate level to oversee and coordinate cancer-related services.
