Railways confirms which Delhi trains run or are cancelled on Oct 11 amid elections

Indian Railways issued a clarification on the status of train services in Delhi for October 11, as the Election Commission’s security protocols are being implemented for the upcoming polls. The official statement indicates that regular passenger and express trains will operate as per the existing timetable, while certain special and inter‑city services have been cancelled to accommodate security arrangements. Travelers are urged to verify the latest information through the railway’s website or helpline numbers before planning their journeys. Such adjustments to train operations are a routine measure during election periods to ensure safety and smooth conduct of voting activities.
