Rahul Gandhi praised the resignation of the Madhya Pradesh State Public Service Commission chief as a significant win for students.
Rahul Gandhi, the senior Congress leader, welcomed the resignation of the chief of the Madhya Pradesh State Public Service Commission (MPSC), calling it a "big victory" for students.
The announcement of the chief’s departure came after a series of criticisms over the commission’s handling of recruitment processes, which had drawn attention from student groups across the state.
In a statement, Gandhi said the move would open the door for reforms that could benefit students preparing for competitive exams conducted by the MPSC.
The resignation is expected to prompt a review of the commission’s policies and could lead to changes aimed at making the recruitment process more transparent and student‑friendly.
