Delhi authorities have announced a shift in protest locations, moving the traditional Jantar Mantar site to Ramleela Maidan along with two additional venues.
Delhi has announced a change in the city’s protest venues, replacing the long‑used Jantar Mantar with Ramleela Maidan and two other sites.
The decision was made by the municipal authorities to manage crowd control and traffic flow during demonstrations.
Ramleela Maidan, located near the old Delhi railway station, will now serve as the main gathering point for protestors.
The two additional venues, whose names have not yet been disclosed, are expected to accommodate smaller rallies.
The move is part of a broader effort to streamline public assembly spaces in the capital.
