Radio Highway Station Bridges Kuki, Meitei, Naga Divides in Manipur

Radio Highway, a community radio venture in Manipur, was launched under the government's Operation Sadbhavana to foster peace among the state's diverse ethnic groups. The station is operated by a team comprising Kuki, Meitei and Naga presenters who produce local news, cultural shows and music aimed at bridging communal gaps. According to reports, the collaboration has already strengthened friendships among the presenters themselves. In the coming months, Radio Highway plans to upgrade to a full‑time community radio and distribute radio sets to remote villages, expanding its reach and impact.
