Punjab National Bank (PNB) has revealed that it is actively scouting for a strategic partner to bolster its mergers and acquisitions (M&A) financing capabilities.
The move comes as the bank seeks to expand its footprint in the growing M&A market, where corporate deals are increasingly complex and demand specialized financing solutions.
Currently, PNB offers basic M&A advisory and funding services, but it aims to deepen its product suite by collaborating with a partner that can provide advanced structuring, risk management and cross-border expertise.
PNB’s CEO stated that the partnership search is underway, with a target to finalize an agreement within the next few months and roll out enhanced M&A products to its corporate clientele.
