The Punjab government approved the removal of the Amritsar BRTS project and will deploy electric buses on existing roads instead.
Amritsar – State officials announced that the Punjab government has formally approved the cancellation of the Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) project slated for Amritsar. The decision clears the way for electric buses to operate on the city’s regular road network.
