Chhindwara police recovered six cases of English liquor from a motorcycle and arrested local MLA Narayan Bhopa and associate Ram Singh under the Excise Act.
Police at the Dela Khari checkpoint in Chhindwara recovered six cases of English liquor from a motorcycle. The seized alcohol was found in a sealed container and was ready for sale. Local MLA Narayan Bhopa and his associate Ram Singh were taken into custody at the police station. Both men were charged under Section 34(2) of the Excise Act and have been sent to jail pending trial.
