Congress MP Shashi Tharoor announced that a parliamentary committee he is part of will examine India's relations with Pakistan and China, alongside the operations of Passport Seva Kendras.

A parliamentary committee, led by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, is set to undertake a comprehensive study of critical foreign relations and domestic service delivery. The committee's mandate includes a detailed examination of India's diplomatic ties with both Pakistan and China.

In addition to foreign policy matters, the panel will also focus on the efficiency and functioning of Passport Seva Kendras across the country. Tharoor made these remarks on Monday following a visit to a Passport Seva Kendra in Jammu, highlighting the committee's multi-faceted agenda.

The initiative aims to assess the current state of bilateral relationships and identify areas for improvement in the passport issuance process, underscoring a commitment to both national security and citizen services.
