More than 40 people have died in Nepal’s recent floods and 105 Indian nationals are reported missing, prompting India to dispatch emergency relief supplies.

Heavy monsoon rains have triggered severe flooding across Nepal, leaving a death toll that has risen above 40. Among those affected are 105 Indian citizens who are currently unaccounted for, according to local authorities.

In response, the Indian government has mobilised a convoy of relief material, including food, medical kits and temporary shelters, and is coordinating with Nepali officials to expedite delivery to the hardest‑hit districts.

Rescue teams from both countries are conducting search operations, while the situation remains fluid and authorities continue to assess the scale of damage and the needs of survivors.
