On the second Monday of Sawan, the palaki of Omkareshwar-Mamleshwar Jyotirlinga embarked on a grand procession, arriving at Kotitirthi ghats for a ceremonial abhishek and boat ride in the Narmada River, drawing thousands of devotees.

On the second Monday of the holy month of Sawan, the palaki of the twin deities Omkareshwar and Mamleshwar Jyotirlinga was set out on a grand procession through the town.

The palaki, richly adorned with garlands, flags and incense, was carried by devotees and priests in a solemn march that attracted a large following.

After the worship rites, the palaki reached Kotitirthi ghats where a ceremonial abhishek was performed using the holy waters of the Narmada River. The deities were then taken on a boat ride along the river, a tradition that symbolizes purification and blessing.

Thousands of pilgrims gathered at the ghats, offering flowers, chanting hymns, and witnessing the sacred rituals, making the day a significant event for the local religious community.
