Odisha eyes huge foreign investment as CM Mohan Majhi set to visit UAE
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will embark on a five-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from Tuesday, with a focus on attracting fresh investments and strengthening the state’s engagement with major global investors and industry leaders.The Chief Minister will travel to New Delhi first before proceeding to Abu Dhabi. During his visit, Majhi is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with prominent investors, business leaders and representatives of leading companies to showcase Odisha’s investment potential.
On September 9, the Chief Minister will hold discussions with senior representatives of IHC, the Indian Business and Professional Group, and a leading petrochemical company.On the same day, he will inaugurate an exhibition in Dubai showcasing various Odisha products under the ‘One District One Product’ (ODOP) initiative.UAE Economy, Aluminium And Recycling Sectors On Agenda
On September 10, Majhi is scheduled to meet UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri.He will also interact with the leadership of the Indian Business and Professional Council and Emirates Global Aluminium. A round-table meeting with the Middle East Recycling Association is also scheduled as part of the visit.

A major highlight of the visit will be the Odisha Investors’ Meet in Dubai on September 11.
The Chief Minister is expected to interact with entrepreneurs and investors from India and abroad and highlight the wide-ranging investment opportunities available in Odisha. The meetings are aimed at attracting potential investments across various sectors and strengthening business partnerships.
