Northern Railway GM Rajesh Kumar Pandey inspects New Delhi stations ahead of Holi rush

Ahead of the Holi festival, Northern Railway's General Manager Rajesh Kumar Pandey conducted an on‑site inspection of New Delhi Railway Station and the nearby Anand Vihar Terminal. The visit focused on checking platform crowd‑management measures, sanitation, ticketing counters and the functioning of temporary facilities expected to handle the surge of passengers traveling for the holiday. Railway officials briefed the GM on additional staff deployment, extra train services and security arrangements planned for the period, aiming to ensure smooth operations and passenger safety.
