Union Home Minister Nitin Nanda visited Arunachal Pradesh to inspect the damage caused by recent floods and assured the state of central assistance.
Union Home Minister Nitin Nanda flew to Arunachal Pradesh on Monday to assess the widespread damage caused by the recent floods that swept through the state.
During his visit, Nanda inspected several villages in the eastern districts where roads were washed away and homes were severely damaged.
He assured state officials that the central government would provide financial aid and technical support to accelerate rehabilitation and reconstruction.
The minister also urged local authorities to strengthen early warning systems and improve flood‑resilient infrastructure.
