A conference held in Guwahati focused on expanding the National Cadet Corps and establishing a dedicated training academy, with significant emphasis on integrating NCC into higher education institutions.
A strategic conference was recently convened in Guwahati to address the future development of the National Cadet Corps (NCC). The primary agenda of the gathering centered on proposals to expand the NCC's operational footprint and structural capabilities across the region.
Key discussions included the establishment of a dedicated NCC Training Academy. This initiative aims to standardize and enhance the quality of training provided to cadets, ensuring they are better prepared for their roles in national service and disaster management.
Furthermore, the conference placed significant emphasis on the integration of NCC activities within the framework of higher education. Stakeholders discussed methods to make NCC participation more accessible and relevant for students in colleges and universities, thereby strengthening the link between academic institutions and national defense preparedness.
The event served as a platform for administrators and educators to align on these expansion plans, signaling a concerted effort to modernize the NCC's approach to youth training and institutional collaboration.
