A pilgrim visiting Nathdwara from Madhya Pradesh had a bag containing approximately 50 lakh rupees worth of gold and diamond jewellery stolen. Police apprehended the accused auto-rickshaw driver within 24 hours and recovered the stolen valuables.
In a swift operation, the Rajasthan Police have apprehended an auto-rickshaw driver in connection with the theft of a bag containing gold and diamond jewellery valued at approximately 50 lakh rupees. The incident occurred in Nathdwara, a popular pilgrimage site.
The victim, a devotee from Madhya Pradesh, reported the theft of the valuable bag while visiting the town. Acting promptly on the complaint, the police launched an investigation.
Authorities successfully traced and arrested the alleged auto-rickshaw driver within a 24-hour period. Following the arrest, the police were able to recover the stolen jewellery, estimated to be worth around 50 lakh rupees, bringing a swift resolution to the case.
