Madhya Pradesh will enjoy clear skies on Dhanteras and Diwali, with no rain alert between 5 and 8 November. From the second week of the month, night temperatures could drop by up to 2°C, signalling a rise in cold.
The Central Meteorological Department has issued a weather bulletin stating that Madhya Pradesh will not receive any rain alerts from 5 to 8 November. The state’s skies are expected to remain clear on Dhanteras, which falls on 4 November, and on Diwali, celebrated on 12 November.
Meteorologists predict that starting from the second week of November, nighttime temperatures may fall by up to two degrees Celsius, indicating a noticeable increase in cold conditions across the state.
Local residents and festival organizers are advised to prepare for cooler evenings, especially in the rural areas where evening temperatures can be more affected by the drop.
The forecast remains unchanged for the rest of the month, with a gradual shift towards cooler nights as the monsoon season winds down.
Weather officials urge people to stay updated with the latest bulletins, especially during the festival period when clear skies are expected to enhance celebrations.
