MP Rainfall 20% Below Average

The monsoon season is active in Madhya Pradesh, but the state is still facing a shortfall in rainfall. As of now, the state has received 17.2 inches of rainfall, which is 20% below the average. The districts of Datia, Rewa, and Sidhi have been issued alerts for heavy rainfall. Despite the active monsoon, 50 districts in the state have received below-average rainfall. The uneven distribution of rainfall has raised concerns about the impact on agriculture and water supply in the state.
