MP Panchayat Secretary Suspended Over Unfinished Building, Funds Misused

A Panchayat secretary in Madhya Pradesh's Dindori district has been suspended for allegedly misusing funds meant for a Panchayat building project. The building remains unfinished despite crores of rupees being paid out.
The District Collector of Dindori has taken strict action against officials involved in the mismanagement of funds for a Panchayat building project in Ganeshpur. Despite receiving close to 33 million rupees, the construction of the building remains incomplete. The District Collector has ordered the suspension of the Panchayat Secretary and directed action against the Sarpanch. The Collector has also instructed the Panchayat to deposit the remaining funds. The role of the junior engineer involved in the project is also under scrutiny.
