Meghalaya CM Presents CMSDF Sanctions to Youth, Schools and Women’s Groups

Meghalaya's chief minister formally transferred CMSDF sanctions to delegates from youth organisations, educational institutions and women's groups in a ceremony held at the state secretariat. The CMSDF scheme, aimed at supporting community development projects, was distributed to the three stakeholder categories to facilitate grassroots initiatives.
The chief minister highlighted that directing resources to young people, schools and women's collectives will strengthen local capacities and promote inclusive growth across the state. Officials noted that the sanctions will be channelled through existing institutional frameworks to ensure transparent utilisation.
Stakeholders received the sanction letters and were briefed on the procedural steps required to access the funds. The handover marks the first phase of the CMSDF rollout in Meghalaya, with further allocations expected as projects are identified.
The event underscores the state government's focus on empowering civil society groups as part of its broader development agenda.
