Man Fatally Stabbed in Mayur Vihar Phase‑3, Security Guard Injured While Intervening

A man was stabbed to death in Delhi’s Mayur Vihar Phase‑3, and a security guard who tried to stop the attack was also injured, police said.
Delhi police reported that a man was found dead with multiple stab wounds in the residential locality of Mayur Vihar Phase‑3 on Tuesday evening. Witnesses said a security guard attempted to intervene when the assailant attacked, and the guard sustained injuries in the struggle.
Emergency services arrived promptly, secured the scene and transported the victim to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. The injured guard was also taken for medical treatment and is reported to be in stable condition.
Investigators have opened a criminal case, registered an FIR and are canvassing the neighbourhood for CCTV footage and eyewitness statements. No arrests have been announced as the probe continues.
