A 2.5‑magnitude earthquake struck Hingoli district in Maharashtra, marking the third seismic event in the area within 24 hours. Residents reported minor tremors, but no damage has been reported.

At approximately 10:15 a.m. local time, a 2.5‑magnitude earthquake was recorded in the Aundha Nagnath tehsil of Hingoli district, Maharashtra. This event is the third seismic shock to hit the region within a 24‑hour period, following two earlier tremors earlier in the day.

Local residents reported mild shaking but confirmed that no buildings were damaged and there were no injuries or casualties. The district administration has issued a statement urging residents to remain vigilant for possible aftershocks and to follow standard earthquake safety protocols.

The Seismic Monitoring Centre (SMC) confirmed the magnitude and location of the quake and advised that the region remains under observation. Authorities are monitoring the situation closely and will provide updates if further activity is detected.
