Maharashtra's food safety chief Tukaram Mundhe issued a nine‑page notice to actors Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn and Tiger Shroff, alleging that a Vimal Elaichi advertisement indirectly promoted pan masala.

The notice, sent by Maharashtra’s food safety chief Tukaram Mundhe, accuses the three actors of indirectly endorsing pan masala through a Vimal Elaichi commercial.

The nine‑page document cites the advertisement’s use of the brand’s spice blend as a vehicle for promoting a tobacco‑related product, which is prohibited under state regulations.

Vimal Elaichi, a popular spice brand, featured the actors in a brief clip that highlighted the product’s flavor, but the notice argues that the ad’s messaging could influence viewers to use pan masala.

So far, Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn and Tiger Shroff have not issued a public response to the notice.
