Madhya Pradesh Employees Protest Over Inflation Allowance, 100% Salary and Cashless Treatment

Employees of the Third Class Staff Association staged statewide protests demanding an inflation allowance, full salary, and cashless treatment, warning the government that a major march in Bhopal is planned for November if their demands are not met.
The Third Class Staff Association organized a series of protests across Madhya Pradesh, with workers gathering in major towns to demand an inflation allowance and a 100 per cent salary increase.
The demonstrators also called for the implementation of cashless medical treatment for employees, arguing that the current system is inadequate and costly.
During the rallies, union leaders warned state officials that if their demands are not addressed promptly, a large-scale march will take place in Bhopal in November.
The protest reflects growing frustration among lower‑ranked government staff over pay and benefits, and it comes at a time when the state government is under pressure to manage public finances amid rising inflation.
